End of the Month Wrap Up
Noadi
So final lensrank update for June has happened. The major point is that if the payout tiers don’t change I have 17 top tier lenses. If the top tier payout is still around $8.50 that means I’ll make about $150 just for those 17 lenses.
To check out my stats go to Squidoodling with Noadi.

Squid Tip #3 - Squidoo Enhanced Script
Noadi
First get Greasemonkey an add-on for Firefox (if you aren’t using Firefox, shame on you). Then head over to SquidUtils and get the Squidoo Enhanced script. It does all sorts of useful things (mostly in the lens workshop) such as:
- Checks each tag in edit mode, and color codes them by number of lenses. Hovering over the tag will tell you the exact number of lenses using the tag.
- Adds link to Ping, Backlinks and Health-Check tools.
- If lens just published, adds Ping link to green box.
- Makes the workshop the full width of a published lens - NEW!
- Increases the height of text edit boxes - NEW!
Make sure to thank thefluffanutta for creating such a cool tool for us!

Did you know . . .
Noadi
I don’t just write on Squidoo? Of course I have a this blog, a couple others, a website, and a web shop but I also publish articles on Associated Content. They do pay me a little bit for the articles (not as much as Squidoo does for my lenses) but it’s a nice little trickle of money. The big benefit though is that since I often write articles related to my lenses I can link to the lens in the article or link to the article from a lens. This benefits both lenses and articles by creating some backlinks and hopefuly some clickthroughs.
Newest article is 10 Tips for Sculpting in Polymer Clay which I’ve linked to my Polymer Clay Sculpting Tips and Techniques lens.

Handmade Business and Branding
Noadi
I started doing some research on branding for my own tiny business (I’m smaller than a small business) so I built a lens around it both to share what I learned and as a reminder to myself of what I need to be doing. So check it out.

This goes along with my other two handmade business lenses.

For Crafty Squid
Noadi
Ever wanted to make your own little squidoo mascot? Or like me you just love all tentacled creatures? Well I have a lens dedicated to the art of cephalopod making. Cephalopod Craft Patterns collects craft patterns of squid, octopus, cuttlefish, and the nautilus from all over the web. Mostly dedicated to crochet, knitting, and sewing patterns but I’m trying to collect others as well.
And if you need some materials for making your little plush mascot and want to be environmentally friendly check out Making your Own Recycled Yarn.
